The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Regina man with child pornography offences.
The charges are in relation to an investigation of possession and distribution of child pornography through two popular online social media applications.
On May 3, members of the ICE Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Regina.
As a result of the police investigation, Zackary Bellegarde, age 35, of Regina, was arrested on June 10 and has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of distribution of child pornography.
He was released from the Regina Provincial Court on numerous conditions and will next appear in court on July 28.
