Mini-go-cart racing coming to Moose Jaw

Swervin’ Mini Indy go-cart racing is coming to Moose Jaw.
Teams from Vanier Collegiate and Phoenix Academy were given supplies to convert a gas powered engine to an electric powered one to compete.
The annual event is called the Race for Recovery for Canadian Mental Health’s Operational Stress Injury initiative.
The initiative is designed to help military, first responders and public safety personnel dealing with operational and post-traumatic stress.

Drivers from all across the province will be in Moose Jaw for the races.

Setup goes Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Town ‘N’ Country Mall parking lot, with racing starting at noon.
