Rider star receiver Duke Williams has been ruled out for tomorrow night’s contest in Edmonton against the Elks. Williams has been nursing a sore ankle since injuring it at practice earlier this week. Regina native Mitch Picton takes Williams’ starting spot at slotback for tomorrow night.

Meantime, rookie receiver Samuel Emilus is a step closer to making his CFL regular season debut for the Roughriders. Emilus, the Riders’ first round pick in the 2022 CFL draft, appears on the depth chart for tomorrow’s game in Edmonton against the Elks as a back-up for Kian Schaffer-Baker at wide receiver.
