It was a great weekend for local golfers at the 2022 Lobstick match play tournament in Waskesiu.
Regina’s Shawn McNall captured the men’s event, knocking off Saskatoon’s Payton Ochitwa in the final. Another Regina golfer, Jason Galon, won the championship consolation event.
The Lobstick, in its 87th year in 2022, is the largest match play tournament in Canada, drawing almost 240 golfers this year.
