Innovation awards presented at Canada’s Farm Show in Regina

 

Canada’s Farm Show has announced three winners in the innovation awards.

The first winner is VeriGrain sample acquisition and information management system.

VeriGrain allows farmers to track grain quality and quantity as it is being sampled while being loaded in and out of storage.

A second winner is Soileos Bioactive crop nutrients.

Lucent Bio is the maker of the crop nutrition products which enhances yields, increases crop quality, and improves soil health.

The process upcycles lentil, pea, wheat and oat hulls into a sustainable delivery agent for nutrients.

The third innovation award winner at Canada’s farm show is Ultra SR made by SeedMaster.

The Ultra SR is 60 feet wide with 750 bushel capacity, contours to the land to ensure precise seed and fertilizer placement.

A total of 26 submissions were received and were judged by an independent panel.
