Farmers from Mongolia tour Canada’s Farm Show in Regina

A group of 14 farmers from Mongolia is touring Canada’s Farm Show in Regina to buy high tech seeding equipment.

The president of Ensada Holding company in Mongolia, Boldoo Usukh, says his country has similar soil conditions and climate compared to Saskatchewan.

He says Saskatchewan-made farm equipment is the best in the world and his group is looking at Bourgault and SeedMaster seeding equipment for zero-till farming.

Boldoo says Mongolia is focusing more effort on food security following the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Canada’s Farm show wraps up Thursday in Regina.
