RCMP nab suspected Rosetown dealership thieves

On Tuesday, around 5:10 in the morning, Kindersley RCMP responded to a business in Kindersley that was broken into and saw a number of electronics stolen.

Later that same day, two people were arrested in Luseland in relation to a separate investigation into vehicles that were reported stolen from a dealership in Rosetown.

Kindersley RCMP located and seized a number of electronics, license plates and tools from the stolen vehicles the two suspects were in. Back in May, two firearms were reported stolen from Alberta. Those were located by police along with ammunition, and a quantity of methamphetamine and GHB.

The investigation has determined some of the electronics were the ones reported stolen in the earlier break and enter.

Lee Falsetta, 36 and Samantha Riggins, 34, both of Red Deer are each facing over 30 charges including one count of break and enter, two counts of careless transportation of a firearm and two counts of carrying a concealed weapon.

The two will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Monday.

Kindersley RCMP Sgt. Amy Forbes said in a media release: “Two have been charged and we were able to recover property stolen from a local business. We’re also working to return some of the other recovered items to their rightful owners, too. Are you missing power tools or hand tools inscribed with initials, or a socket set? If so, please call the Kindersley RCMP at 306-463-4642.”
