Police continue investigation into Garnet Street and Dewdney Avenue collision

The Regina Police Service has announced that they are continuing its investigation into a collision that occurred on Sunday.

It was at 7:13 p.m. that police were dispatched to the area of Garnet Street and Dewdney Avenue for a report of a collision involving an F-150 truck and a cyclist.

When emergency crews arrived, they located a 28-year-old man lying in the roadway. He was taken to hospital with what was described as serious injuries.

In a preliminary investigation, police say that the truck travelled westbound on Dewdney Avenue in the right-hand lane. The cyclist was proceeding south on Garnet Street when the two collided.
