Two people are facing charges of attempted robbery after someone said two men tried to rob him on 3rd avenue, north of Avonhurst.

The victim said one of the people had a gun.

This happened late yesterday afternoon.

Police found two men walking on 3rd avenue a short distance away, and arrested them.

Twenty-nine year old, Darion Desjarlais and Thirty-three year old, Jordan Taypotat are facing charges of attempted robbery, and carrying a concealed weapon.
