Regina-Rosemont MLA Trent Wotherspoon was in a hospital Emergency Room in Regina early Friday morning, and will be back at the hospital for more evaluation and potential treatment during the weekend.
On his Twitter feed, Wotherspoon reported he went to the ER around 2:30 in the morning with some pain. He even mentioned passing out in a wheelchair in the ER.
Speaking with 620CKRM from hospital, Wotherspoon said it didn’t appear to be anything serious, and all indications are he will be just fine.
Being in the hospital, Wotherspoon had nothing but praise for the treatment and care he has received from the staff.
“No one wants to go to a hospital, or go to the emergency room, but when you need it, it’s reassuring to have the support and the professionals who staff the ER and the hospital”
Wotherspoon added “They deserve our respect and better support for the work they do”.
Wotherspoon is in good spirits, and relieved that any serious conditions have been ruled out so far.
