Regina’s Queen City exhibition opens Wednesday with some farm exhibits.
There is a farm petting zoo, where guests can feed and learn about animals on display.
The Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association has an igloo shaped projection dome showing the different aspects of cattle farming.
Agribition has a display featuring roping dummy’s, stick horses and the importance of rodeo.
SaskMilk has an interactive milking simulator with a representative onsite to answer questions about the dairy industry.
There’s also displays on Alpaca’s, best farming practices and farm safety.
Regina exhibition association’s manager of communications, Mark Rathwell, adds there is also a feature on Saskatchewan grown mustard.
Queen City mustard is a collaboration between the Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Centre and the Ag in the Classroom initiative held during Canada’s Farm Show.
Sales from the mustard will support the Regina Food Bank.
The Queen city exhibition runs Wednesday through Sunday in Regina.
