Musician Jason DeRulo graced the stage Wednesday night at the Queen City Ex, in what REAL District CEO Tim Reid said was going to be a highlight of the summer.
Including today, there are still three more days remaining at the QCX.
Reid talked about the highlights of the fair.
“Honestly, value for money, at $18 to get into the gates and watch Jason DeRulo is probably the best value for an entertainment experience that exists this summer,” said Reid. “So I would say the food, obviously the rides, and I think the entertainment that’s on the stage.”
Earlier this week, the Real District partnered with the Regina Open Door Society to give new Canadians their first taste of a big North American Fair.
“For any of us that are long time community members here, or frankly across the rest of Canada, the North American fair is kind of a custom for us. But if you’re coming from somewhere that’s not north America, the festival is actually quite a strange experience,” Reid said.

Reid said they partnered with North American Midway to provide the experience. And he said taking someone who’s never seen a Ferris wheel and take them up to the top, is a highlight of the fair for him.
Gates close at 11 tonight, Saturday and Sunday.
