Amber Alert Cancelled. Child and Mother are safe

A case of parental abduction, became an Amber Alert which has ended with the best possible outcome.

At 3:38pm, Saskatchewan RCMP issued an Amber Alert for a 36 year woman and her two year old son.

Just before 4:30 this morning, police were dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of 13th avenue when a woman showed up and was believed to be trying to remove her two-year-old child, who she did not have custody of.

Both were gone.

After an initial investigation by the Regina Police Service the Amber Alert was issued later in the day

Just before 7 o’clock Sunday Night the Amber Alert was cancelled. Police reported both the child, and the mother had been found in Regina. Both are safe. The mom has been arrested.
