The search for a missing swimmer at Last Mountain lake north of of Regina has a sad ending.

The body of the 71 year old swimmer was recovered today.

The RCMP from Lumsden and Southey were alerted that a person was missing on the lake near Pelican Point just before 5 yesterday (Monday).

STARS Air Ambulance, local fire personnel, and civilian search and rescue teams have all joined in the search.

The person’s name has not been released, but his family has been notified.
