If you’re heading west, Saskatchewan RCMP is saying that Highway #1 eastbound lanes are closed from six km west of Rush Lake to seven km east of Swift Current, due to a grass fire in the area.

It is unknown how long the lane closure will last. Detours are in place but motorists can expect delays.

There are emergency workers on scene and visibility may be affected due to smoke, so motorists are asked to slow down in the area.
