The search for 74 year old Lois Chartrand has come to a tragic end.

Chartrand had been missing since the 4th of August and was found deceased

Lois had ridden onto a forest trail with a friend and then set out on foot to pick mushrooms.

The pair lost sight of each other around 11 am on the 4th – that was the last time Chartrand was seen.

Chartrand was found about 1 km from where she was last seen. Her family has been notified.
