Riders Release Two Players

As the team was about to hit the practice field for the first time since the win over Edmonton, the Riders made a couple of changes to the roster.

The team has released American wide receiver Jakob Prall, and American offensive lineman Na’Ty Rodgers.

Prall had 9 catches so far this year for a total of 99 yards, and no touchdowns. Rodgers got into all nine games this season.

The Roughriders are preparing for a pair of games against the BC Lions, starting with Friday Night, at Mosaic Stadium.  The Lions have lost once this year, and are coming off a huge come from behind win over the Calgary Stampeders in Calgary last week.

This week’s game is also “Purolator Tackle Hunger Night” at the stadium, with all fans being asked to bring some non perishable food donations.
