Regina Police Service’s SWAT and gang units were out last night as they arrested a man wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant.
Collin Russell Scott Pratt, a 31-year-old Regina man who was the subject of the warrant, was suspected to be at a residence on Seventh Avenue.
As part of their investigation, police believed he was in possession of a firearm and after 6 p.m. last night, attempted to execute a search warrant.
Two adults and a child left the house. The adults were both arrested but only one was charged. A search of the residence found weapons and ammunition.
Pratt has been charged with several weapons charges, including tampering with the serial number of the firearm.
He made his first court appearance on the charges this morning.
