August continues to bring the heat, and humidity to Saskatchewan.
Heat warnings are in effect for the south west including Shaunavon, Maple Creek, The Cypress Hills and Val Marie.
A heat warning also stretches across north central Saskatchewan from the Battlefords in the west to Porcupine Plain and the Manitoba border in the east.
Temperatures in those areas will be well over 30 degrees, and it will be warm tonight, but it should cool a little starting Monday.
The north-west portion of the province is also dealing with air quality from advisories stemming from wildfires burning near Lake Athabasca. The thick smoke is effecting the air quality, but its expected the wind should clear out some of the smoke, south of the lake.
