As it does every year, big farm machinery is going to be getting close to power lines across the province, and if you’re operating one of those machines, SaskPower reminds you to look up and live.
Harvest is a busy time of year with a lot of long hours, SaskPower says.
They suggest to plan your route ahead of time with the Look up and live map on SaskPower.com and to lower or retract large equipment when working near power lines.
SaskPower also suggest using a spotter on the ground for an extra set of eyes.
As of Aug. 7th, SaskPower reports there have been 186 incidents involving farm machinery this year, which is the exact same amount as last year.
