The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced a couple of signings this afternoon, both international players. One is a running back, and one is a quarterback.
Running back Shaun Wilson saw some time with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, after signing as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He got into a few games, and shuffled around to Washington and Tennessee, before landing in the CFL with the BC Lions in 2021. The Duke product played four seasons with the Blue Devils as both a running back and a kick returner.
Quarterback Levi Lewis was an undrafted free agent when he joined the Seattle Seahawks after the NFL’s 2022 Draft.
The 24 year old spent five years at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette amassing over 9,000 passing yards, and 74 touchdowns in 57 games
