Rams complete comeback against Manitoba to move to 1-0

The University of Regina Rams football team picked up a win in Winnipeg to start off their season as they defeated the University of Manitoba Bisons by score of 33-23.

The Rams were trailing at halftime by a score of 17-13 but came storming back with 17 unanswered points in the third quarter including a 68 yard touchdown connection between Noah Pelletier and Bennett Stusek.

Special teams also chipped in the victory with a blocked punt and fumble recovery that resulted in a touchdown for the green and gold.

With the victory away from the Queen City, the University of Regina will return to home turf for the first time in 2022 next Friday against the University of Calgary Dinos.

The game can be heard on 620 CKRM with an opening kickoff at 7:00.
