Roughriders Fan Day returns as part of the Labour Day Classic weekend

After a hiatus over the last couple of seasons due to COVID-19, the popular Fan Day returned to Mosaic Stadium prior to the Labour Day Classic on Sunday between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

On Saturday, the Riders held a walk through practice that was open for the fans to attend. Following the practice, the fans lined up to get an autograph with their favourite Rider.

There was also activities on the field.

The longest line of the afternoon was reserved for quarterback, Cody Fajardo, who was really happy to take part in the interactive event with the fans once again. He feels being a role model to kids is one of the best part of being the quarterback in Saskatchewan.

“Having kids come up to you and tell you that you’re their favourite player, it’s the small things that make you grateful for the job that you have.”
