Heat Warning and Haze

A break in the hot weather is coming by the middle of the week, but for today, the “Heat Warning” from Environment and Climate Change Canada remains in effect.

Heat Warnings run down the central part of the province from Prince Albert in the north, to Gravelbourg and Assinaboia in the south.  Tempoertaures are expected to remain about 32 degrees, and lows above 16 degrees.

Air Quality advisories are in effect from Meadow Lake in the north, all the way down the border with Alberta to Maple Creek in the south west.  This is from smoke from wildfires.

There is a break coming as cooler air is expected to move into the area giving us temperatures right at, or close to average for this time year.  In Regina. the highs are around 20 degrees, and lows around 5 in early September.
