— Early Exit. Edmonton would be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss to the Riders on Friday night.

— Triple Digits. Saskatchewan’s win against the Elk on August 13, was the franchise’s 100th all time victory against Edmonton. All time the Riders are 100-123-2 against Edmonton.

— Eight Would Be Great. The Riders have won the last seven head to head matchups against Edmonton.

— Rough Summer. Both teams have identical 2-6 records since July 14.

— A Tale of Two Fates. Saskatchewan QB Cody Fajardo is 5-0 vs Edmonton while his counterpart Taylor Cornelius is 0-3 vs the Riders.

— Another Hughes Milestone. Charleston Hughes is set to play in his 200th game. Last week he moved to 5th on the CFL’s all time list for sacks.

— Picking Up the Pace. Since being replacing the injured Jamal Morrow, Frankie Hickson has averaged 95 yards rushing per game over three games as the starting running back for the green and white.

Pressure Is On. In the two previous matchups, the Riders and Elk have combined for 16 sacks, with Saskatchewan recording nine sacks while Edmonton picking up seven.

— Road Warriors. The Elk have won three of their last five on the road while Saskatchewan have lost their last four at Mosaic Stadium.

— Less Yards.  Today’s game features the bottom two teams in the league for average net yards per game. The Riders average 316.7 yards a game, while Edmonton averages 297.2 yards a game.
