The city of Moose Jaw’s Parks and Rec department has chosen its tree of significance for 2022.
A lush mature, ornamental crabapple tree at 680 MacDonald Street West was chosen for its perfect shape and exceptional size.
The Parks & Recreation Department encourages Moose Jaw residents to take notice of, and appreciate, our urban forest.
The program has been going on since 2011, with one to three trees annually achieving the tree of significance title.
