Riders increase secondary depth with two signings

The Saskatchewan Roughriders made a pair of moves on Tuesday that provides support in their secondary.

Defensive backs T.J. Green and Devin Jones agreed to terms with the green and white.

Green joins the Roughriders after spending six seasons in the NFL. He was a second pick of the Indianapolis Colts back in the 2016 NFL Draft. Along with the Colts, the 27 year old spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons.

Jones was signed by the Carolina Panthers after attending their 2022 rookie minicamp. The 25 year old remained with the Panthers through the NFL preseason.

The defensive back also served as a kick/punt returner during his five seasons at the University of North Carolina Pembroke.

Also on Tuesday the Riders confirmed the release of defensive end, Keion Adams.
