A fire ripped through a house on King Crescent in Moose Jaw Sunday evening, causing extensive damage inside.
Moose Jaw Fire Chief Rod Montgomery said crews were able to get to the fire and get it under control quickly.
“Within 20 minutes they had that fire knocked down,” said Montgomery. “However having said that, they were there quite some time after, just checking for extension inside of the house and and mitigating any other issues inside there.”
Unfortunately for the residents of the home, the extensive damage to the house had already been done by the time crews arrived at about 5 p.m. Montgomery said crews were there for some time.
There was no one home at the time of the fire and the cause is still under investigation.
