–– Home Cooking. Today’s game will mark the 125th time the Riders and Bombers will meet in Winnipeg, with the Bombers holding a 83-40-1 edge over the Riders
— A Turn In the Second. In the two matchups this season, the Blue Bombers have used the second quarter to send them to victory as they scored a combined 38 points in the second quarter over the two contests.
— Going through Winnipeg. The Bombers would clinch a home playoff game with a win over the Riders or a Calgary loss.
— Three Wins and They’re In. The Riders need three wins to clinch a playoff spot, their magic number would be reduced by one with losses from Ottawa and Hamilton.
— Cool Under Pressure. The Blue Bombers are 8-1 in games that are decided in the final three minutes of regulation this season.
–Too Much Pressure. The Riders have allowed 59 sacks this season. They have also scored touchdowns on only two drives this season where they allowed a sack.
