A robbery last week has led to a 53-year-old man facing multiple charges.
On September 30, police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Albert Street for a robbery report.
Early information suggested that a woman was walking through a business parking lot and was approached by a man. He asked the woman for money, and when she refused, the man assaulted and stole items.
A short time later, police reported a man acting erratically at a business in the 2300 block of 12th Avenue. He was said to have punched a security guard at the business and then left on foot towards Victoria Park.
Police later located the man in Victoria Park, where he was arrested and charged.
Fifty-three-year-old Dwayne Leroy Nayneecassum of Regina was charged with robbery and assault.
He made his appearance in Provincial Court on Monday.
