Flu shots opening up October 11th

Booking your flu shot this year can give you a real shot in the arm.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority said that starting next Tuesday, you can book your annual flu shot at public health clinics, local pharmacies and physician and nurse practitioner offices.
All residents 65 and older can receive the Flu-zone High Dose Influenza vaccine that was previously only eligible for residents in long term care and personal care homes.

Children age six months to five years can only get their flu shots at a SHA public flu clinic, public health office or by a physician/nurse practitioner.
Check www.4flu.ca to book your family in for shots, or 1-833-saskvax to make group bookings by phone.
