— 99. Tonight will be the 99th matchup between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The Riders hold a 50-44-4 record against Hamilton.

— Driver’s seat. If Saskatchewan wins tonight game, their magic number for clinching the final playoff spot would be reduced to one. If Hamilton wins, they would trail the Riders by two points with a game in hand along with the automatic tiebreaker.

Not the First Time. Saskatchewan has crossed over into the Eastern playoffs ahead of Hamilton on two occasions, back in 2002 & 2017.

Good Time to Snap a Streak. The Riders are heading into this evening’s game on a four game losing streak. This is their longest losing streak since September of 2016.

— Similar Roads. Both the Riders & Tiger-Cats are 1-4 over their last five games heading into this game.

— Turning Over for the Win. During the first half of the season, the Riders were +10 in the turnover ratio, but are -11 since then including -9 over the last three games.

— Grabbing a Win. In 2022, Hamilton QB Dane Evans thrown 15 touchdowns and 13 interceptions with a 3-8 record. The Tiger-Cats are 3-0 when Evans does not throw an interception.

Clean Pocket. Last week the Riders did not allow a sack after giving 12 the prior two games, last week also marked the return of Dan Clark.

First Misfire. Saskatchewan ranks 9th in the league averaging 5.6 yards on 1st down. Meanwhile, their opponents have averaged 7.9 yards per play on first down.

Strong Start, Weak Finish.  In the 2022 season, Hamilton have outscored their opponents by 65 points during the opening halves of games. In the second halves and overtimes, they have been outscored by 134 points.
