ICE storm out to lead over Pats and never look back

 

The Winnipeg ICE remain undefeated on the season as they defeated the Regina Pats 5-2 on Friday night,

The ICE jumped out to a 4-0 on their way to the win.

Connor Bedard scored for Regina to extend his point streak to six games on the year. Jaxsin Vaughan also scored Regina.

Bedard did receive a penalty shot in the second period, but was unable to convert on the attempt.

Matthew Kieper took the loos for the Pats as he made 30 saves.

Regina was unable to score on the powerplay as they were 0/4.

The Pats won’t have to wait long until they have another chance to get back in the win column as they meet Swift Current on Saturday at the Brandt Centre.
