TeleMiracle 47 is right around the corner and it’s on the search for local talent.
TeleMiracle 47 will broadcast live on CTV Saskatchewan and will be live-streamed on the TeleMiracle website on February 25 and 26, 2023.
“Auditions are a sure sign that our annual telethon is not that far away. Every year, TeleMiracle showcases some of the best talent our province has to offer,” says Scott Lamb, volunteer Chair of TeleMiracle 47.
Deadlines for video and in-person auditions are coming up fast.
Performers can audition via video submission until October 25.
In-person auditions are happening in Regin on October 23 and in Saskatoon on October 15. The deadline to register for an in-person audition for the event in Regina is October 19 and for Saskatoon is October 12.
Performers must preregister for either in-person or video auditions before the deadlines on the TeleMiracle website or by phone at 306-244-6400 extension 2 for Saskatoon, or toll-free at 1-877-777-8979 extension 2.
Not only are talent and passion main criteria for talent to participate in TeleMiracle but performers are also chosen to represent a wide variety of communities across Saskatchewan.
“TeleMiracle is an event that is rooted in Saskatchewan and nothing demonstrates that better than our home-grown talent,” says Kinsmen Foundation Executive Director Richard Kies.
“Not only do these talented performers provide hours of entertainment, they also raise tens of thousands of dollars to support the cause.”
Since TeleMiracle began almost 50 years ago, the telethon has raised $153 million for the Kinsmen Foundation to then be distributed to various community efforts across Saskatchewan.
