Sam Oremba opened up the scoring for the Pats. Easton Armstrong also scored for Regina.
Drew Sim earned his fifth straight win to start the season as he made 23 saves to earn the win.
The Pats went 1/7 on the powerplay while Swift Current was 1/1.
Bedard now extends his point streak to nine games, while the Pats have won three in a row and four of their last five.
The next action for the Pats will be on Sunday, when they host the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
