The University of Regina Rams will finish off their regular season on Saturday when they host the University of Manitoba Bisons at Mosaic Stadium.

The Rams will honour the eleven senior players today, as it’s Senior Day.

There isn’t any playoff implications on the line for the U of R this afternoon, as the Rams locked up the second spot in the Canada West standings after they defeated the University of Calgary last weekend.

Next week, the Rams will be hosting the UBC Thunderbirds in one of the two Canada West Football semi-finals.

While there are no playoff implications for the Rams, there are plenty for the University of Manitoba. The Bisons need a victory in Regina, or they need the University of Alberta Golden Bears to lose to UBC in order to clinch the fourth and final playoff spot. The fourth place team in the Canada West standings will meet the University of Saskatchewan Huskies in Saskatoon next weekend in other semi-final.
