The Saskatchewan Roughriders began their offseason work on Monday, by resigning a pair of late season additions, quarterback, Levi Lewis and linebacker, Alvin Jones Jr.
Lewis joined the Roughriders in August after spending training camp with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks . The quarterback played collegiately at University of Louisiana-Lafayette for five seasons (2017-2021) where he is the career leader in passing touchdowns and second in passing yards.
Jones Jr. signed with Saskatchewan in October. He previously attended the 2022 training camp with the team and played in both preseason games. He signed with the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and spent time on their practice roster in 2018 & 2019.
