Police seek information about armed robbery

Regina police are asking the public for information about an armed robbery and assault from yesterday morning.
Police went to a convenience store on Fifth Avenue for a report of an armed robbery just before 10 a.m.
The victim had been driving by and noticed a man lying on the ground. He stopped to help and left his vehicle when another man arrived, demanded his belongings, and stabbed the driver.
Both men fled.
The victim’s injuries are described as non-life threatening.
The assailant is described as a man with a red sweatshirt and white pants and shaved head. The other man is 5-foot-10, shoulder length dark hair with a black toque, black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Regina police or Crimestoppers.
