Here’s the Remembrance Day hours for city operations

As the city pays tribute to the men and women who’ve laid down their lives and continue to fight in war, the city of Regina has provided a list of available operations in the city on November 11.

On Remembrance Day:

  • Civic Offices are closed.
  • The landfill is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • All garbage and recycling will be collected as usual.
  • Regina transit services will be operating according to Sunday’s schedule. The Information Centre and RIDELine will be closed.
  • The city’s paratransit service will be operating from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Offices for Riverside Memorial Park and Regina Cemeteries will be closed but the gates will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • The Northwest Leisure Centre will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • The Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • The Sportsplex, Fieldhouse, and Lawson Aquatic Centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Parking meters will not be in effect.
