A sad ending to a search for a missing man came yesterday.

60 year old Jack Crouch was traveling along highway 15 earlier this week when a winter storm picked up and left him stranded between Watrous and Kenaston.

Crouch was found dead after a civil air search and rescue plane assisted the RCMP. The man was found 1 km away from his vehicle on a stretch of unmaintained road near Kenaston.

An investigation determined there were no signs of foul play.
