Pats losing streak extends to three with loss to Winnipeg

For the second straight game, four goals against in a period was the undoing for the Regina Pats as they were defeated by the Winnipeg ICE 5-2 on Saturday night.

Alexander Suzdalev gave the Pats a lead in the second period after a scoreless first.

The ICE would come storming back as they fired off four unanswered goals to grab a three goal lead cushion after 40 minutes.

Suzdalev would cut into the deficit when he scored his second goal of the night, but it was not enough as Regina drops their their third straight game.

Connor Bedard extended his point streak to 21 games with two assists on the night.

Drew Sim took the loss as he made 28 saves.

After travelling east, the Pats will now head west on their extended road trip. They will be in Vancouver next Friday to meet the Giants.
