27 year old Nickolaos James Velikas of Regina is now facing charges for evading police and possesion of a substance after a chase led to the man falling off a roof.

Regina city police attempted a traffic stop on 8th avenue and Ephinstone with the vehicle evading police and later crashing into another car with the lone occupant fleeing on foot.

The Canine unit was able to locate the suspect on the roof of a home on Montague Street – he then tried to jump to a neighbouring home and fell.

Police were able to find what they believe to be a bag of meth on the suspect.

The accused is making their first court appearance today
