On Thursday night at the USports Football Awards, four University of Regina Ram players were recognized as members of the  All-Canadian teams.

Defensive linemen Anthony Bennett and Tanner Schmekel, along with linebacker Ryder Varga were named first team All-Canadians. Defensive back Jaxon Ford was named a second team All-Canadian.

This season, Bennett established a new school new record with nine sacks. Schmekel had a pair of sacks with the Rams this season.

Varga led the team with 38.5 tackles, tied a school record by forcing three fumbles. He also won the Canada West Defensive Player of the Year Award earlier this month.

In 2022, Ford had 22 tackles with an interception over nine games with the Rams.
