Regina city police were able to make an arrest and find an improvised weapon after reports of a gunshot on the 2500 block of 5th avenue.

The report came in at 8pm on Saturday November 26th – police were able to locale two suspects after getting descriptions. They found an improvised firearm known as a “slamgun” and a spent shotgun shell.

An adult male was found to have outstanding warrants, a female youth who was with him now faces charges of carrying a concealed weapon and possesion of a firearm.

The youth who cannot be named will make an appearance in youth court on December 9th.
