Cereals Canada and the Canadian Grain Commission have a good news story to tell export customers about the 2022 wheat crop.

A jointly released report says over 90 percent of red spring wheat graded number one or two, and protein content is higher than average.

Durum numbers were a bit lower,with 80 percent grading one or two and with protein content also higher than average.

In the coming weeks, the report will be shared in person when Canadian delegations travel to more than 15 countries in Asia, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
