Its not the heady days of the past, where Scott Moe’s popularity was topping 60 percent, but the premier still enjoys firm support in Saskatchewan.
According to “The Angus Reid Group”, Moe has the support of 56 percent of the voters in Saskatchewan.
That’s second among all Canadian premiers. Only Quebec’s Francois Legault has a higher ranking at 57 percent.
Moe’s popularity dropped like a stone in 2021 from 61 percent, to 43 percent, and that number has slowly climbed since.
As for the other premiers, Alberta’s Danielle Smith has a 42 percent approval rating, but 54 percent disapprove of what she is doing, and that is a high number for a sitting premier.
In Manitoba, Heather Stefanson is slowly building on a very low number. In January of last year Stefanson’s popularity was at 21 percent, now, its at 26 percent, Not a big climb, but it is going in the right direction although she is at the bottom of the list of all the premiers in Canada.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s popularity goes up and down like a roller coaster. In March of 2020 Ford enjoyed the support of 69 percent of decided voters, today that number stands at 34 percent.
