New Aquatic Centre and Library top priorities for Regina residents surveyed

The City of Regina’s Catalyst Committee released the results of its online survey.

Over 4,500 participated in the survey that sought the public’s output on five potential recreation and cultural facility projects.

Up for vote were a new Aquatic Centre, the Modernization of the Central Library, a new Multi-Purpose Event Centre, an Outdoor Baseball stadium, and a Soccer Pitch.

Of the five projects, residents were most interested in seeing the Aquatic centre and the Modernization of the Central Library being built.

In terms of priority of those surveyed:
