A man from Alameda is facing two attempted murder charges, after police tried to arrest him for breeching his probation.
On Wednesday, RCMP went to a home in Carnduff after reports of a person who was breaching conditions of probabtion.
The male answered the door, and was told he was under arrest. According to police, the man went back into the house, and got a gun. During an altercation, there was at least one gun shot fire by police, but no one was hurt.
67 year old Theodore Allan Brycks has been charged with two counts of attempted murder of a police officer, and four counts of failing to comply with probation orders.
