The Czechia National Junior Club announced their roster for their 2023 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship team on Tuesday, with Regina Pats defenceman Stanislav Svozil named to the team for the third straight year.

In his second season with the Pats, the defenceman has collected 37 points (5G-32A) in 28 games.

Svozil is first amongst all WHL defencemen in assists, while tied for first in points. He also leads all skaters in power play helpers (23), is tied for first in power play points (25), and is second amongst all skaters in assists behind only Connor Bedard.

The two Regina teammates will face off on Boxing Day as Canada meets Czechia.
