Trudeau Sees Bump in Polls

As we close in on Christmas, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is seeing his popularity go up a little.

Compared to last fall, Trudeau’s numbers went up 5 percent, mostly attributed to his testimony at the public inquiry into the use of the emergencies act.

Trudeau sits at 43 percent support.

On the other side of the ledger, new conservative leader Pierre Poilievre has only 33 percent of people asked like the job he has done.

54 percent of people asked have a negative view of Poilievre.

That’s a higher “unfavorable” number than his predecessors Stephen Harper, Andrew Scheer or Erin O’Toole had at this point in their leadership.
